Top Italian Restaurants in Park City, UT

Park City Utah Italian Restaurants - ImageWhen you’re on vacation and far from the comforts of home, nothing warms your spirits and appeases your appetite like a hearty Italian meal.  In Park City, you don’t have to look far to find a high quality restaurant specializing in Italian cuisine.  Regardless of the season, you’ll find your comfort zone at one of these top-rated Park City restaurants featuring Italian food, located in-town and the surrounding areas.

Grappa stands with confidence at the top of Main Street, and it is well worth the uphill hike to dine there.  As one of the five restaurants owned and operated by local restaurateur Bill White, Grappa sets the bar high when it comes to tasteful Italian fare.  The warm ambience is apparent immediately upon entering the repurposed historic guesthouse, and diners can rest assured that whatever they decided to sample from the menu will be a good choice. Try the crab cakes or the Chilean sea bass; the consistently updated menu ensures that everyone will find something to like about Grappa Italian Cafe.  A glass of wine from the extensive wine list is the perfect way to round out a perfect evening.

A few doors down from Grappa, Cisero’s Ristorante & Nightclub offers a pleasant departure from the upscale Grappa establishment.  Family and friends will find themselves at ease, thanks to the friendly wait staff and reasonably priced entrees.  After chasing the stuffed pasta or cioppino with a beer, head downstairs to Cisero’s Nightclub, and find yourself at one of Park City’s favorite spots for evening entertainment.

Café Terigo is another superb dining choice when it comes to upscale Italian dining.  Terigo is also situated on Main Street, making it the perfect location to peruse after a day of shopping and browsing the art galleries.  Try the pan-seared scallops or pork tenderloin while you mingle with loved ones and bask in the glow of afterhours Park City.  The excellent service and calm, relaxing atmosphere of Café Terigo is a great way to unwind after a day in the Park City sun.

If you’re staying in or near Deer Valley’s Silver Lake area, then Ticino Trattoria is the place for your Italian food craving.  The intersection of tradition and innovation is what you’ll find on the Ticino menu, so make sure you arrive with your appetite.  Customer favorites include freshly baked pizzas and the Beef Braciola.

The final restaurant worth mentioning is Ghidotti’s Italian Restaurant, located at Kimball Junction’s Redstone area, across from the movie theater.  Although this restaurant is another of Bill White’s Italian establishments, Ghidotti’s could not be more different than or as equally delicious as Grappa.  The roomy interior of Ghidotti’s sets the mood for a memorable, vibrant dining experience with friends, family, or that special someone.  An expansive wine list paves the way for a menu with a plethora of tasty offerings, including calamari, chicken parmesan, and a filet worth coming back for.

With so many wonderful Park City Italian restaurants in such close proximity, how do you choose?   Regardless of your selection, count on a memorable night of great food and fun at any of the aforementioned establishments.
