Prospector Square is home to two of the locals’ favorites, El Chubasco and Nacho Mama’s, and neither of these restaurants should be overlooked! Upon entrance to El Chubasco, you’ll immediately take note of the vibrant atmosphere and endless salsa bar. Some guests have been known to over-sample the delicious salsa offerings, leaving minimal room for their actual meals! Try the smothered burritos or the taco salad, and you’ll keep the stomach rumbling at bay for hours. Another town favorite is Nacho Mama’s, located adjacent to the Park City Marriott. The fantastic service, combined with the restaurant’s unique and successful take on tortilla soup and Mama’s shrimp and vegetables, will leave this restaurant at the top of your list of places to revisit.

The Kimball Junction area of town offers convenient dining options for vacationers staying near The Canyons Resort or in any of the numerous lodging options close to Park City’s entryway.  If you’re looking for a family-friendly atmosphere with great service and margaritas consider Loco Lizard Cantina, located in Kimball Plaza by the I-80 interchange. Loco Lizard Cantina serves up great food, a vibrant atmosphere, and an abundance of freshly made chips and salsa.  Loco Lizard also features a large outdoor patio which is a great spot to dine during Park City’s beautiful summer months.  Make sure to try the   A few streets over, you’ll find Café Rio, one of the newest restaurants to open in the Kimball Junction area. This assembly-line style restaurant allows you to custom order your meal as you advance through the procession.
