Best Park City Restaurants Serving Asian Food

Asian Food Restaurants in Park City UT - ImageAside from the three ski resorts and countless miles of hiking and biking trails, an additional draw of Park City as a vacation destination is the eclectic mix of dining establishments located in and around town.  Park City restaurants serving Asian food and restaurants featuring Asian fusion cuisine are some of the newest and most exciting places to dine while vacationing in Park City, Utah.

If your trip includes plans to shop and dine on Park City’s Main Street, be sure to make reservations at Wahso.  This upscale restaurant is a Bill White establishment, loved by locals and tourists alike.  The intimate atmosphere ensures that your dinner companion(s) will have your undivided attention…at least until your food is served.  Start your meal off with one of the featured Asian Tapas, like the Hibachi Trio, and work your way through Korean barbequed salmon or the tempura Kobe short ribs.  This memorable dining experience is a great way to finish an afternoon (or start an evening) on Main Street.

Another Park City Main Street restaurant worth visiting is Shabu, an Asian Fusion stand out that can be found a few blocks up from Wahso.  Shabu serves up creative cuisine designed by its renowned chefs, and is definitely a place you’ll want to visit more than once.  The funky atmosphere and friendly service round out the dining experience.  Don’t leave without sampling the Kobe beef tenderloin; you’ll rarely find a meal this appetizing.

Two other Asian restaurants in the Main Street vicinity worth noting are Taste of Saigon and Bangkok Thai.  Taste of Saigon offers high quality food at low prices, which is something you won’t often find in a vacation destination.  The downside is that the space located in the Galleria building is not the most aesthetically pleasing.  If you’re after good food at good prices, Taste of Saigon is where you’ll find it.  As apparent by it’s name, Bangkok Thai presents authentic Thai food in an ambient atmosphere.  A 2009 Best of State winner in the Asian Cuisine category, Bangkok Thai boasts many delicious offerings on its menu.  Try the coconut sesame shrimp, pad thai, or any of the curries for an award-winning meal.

While the crowds might not be as heavy on Kearns Boulevard as they are on Main Street, the seats of Blind Dog Grill & Sushi Bar are sure to be booked on weekends and weeknights alike.  Blind Dog serves up some of the best steaks and sushi around, and Best of Citysearch would agree, distinguishing the restaurant as having one of the top ten best steaks in the country.  An Asian infused menu offers an assortment of sushi and sashimi in addition to innovative Asian-American dishes, and is sure to inspire the most conservative palate.

The last of the great Asian restaurants are located a few miles down the highway at the intersection of I-80.  The Last Samurai is a Benihana-style restaurant featuring teppanyaki cuisine that caters to the fun-loving crowd, regardless of age.  The philosophy of the Last Samurai is simple: the more the merrier, we’ll entertain everyone.  Group seating around an open flame allows customers to watch their dinners materialize before their eyes, and the food is the best part!  You’ll definitely share in a memorable dining experience with a night out at the Last Samurai.

Another superb restaurant, Hapa Grill is a unique combination of Hawaiian and Japanese flavors at affordable prices.  Since 2005, Hapa Grill has been happily serving customers a combination of sushi, steak, and the best burger in Utah, according to the Salt Lake Tribune.  The laid-back atmosphere at Hapa is a great place to spend an evening while visiting Park City.

Remember, vacation is a time to make memories and explore places you may never see again.  Choose one of the Park City Asian restaurants discussed above, and rest assured that your dining experience will be a night to remember.
